A year to the day.
Just a short post to mark an anniversary. A year ago today, our landlords came to visit our home to look at some damp issues that we had been having. During that routine meeting, the landlord told us that he had decided to sell the house! This was completely unexpected, and, as I have mentioned in earlier posts, turned our lives upside down.
Well, as you read this, I can tell you that our former home is stood empty with a “For Sale” sign still stood outside it. Part of me is still angry about the whole experience, but I’m mostly feeling quite smug that we haven’t been contributing funds to our landlord for the last nine months. What a berk he is!
