Minimal Zoid: And So It Begins

So today I re-start my weightloss journey.

I’ve been really crap at dieting for years now. Back in 2003 I managed to lose several stones by following the Atkins diet. I stank like a dog for months and only ate meat and cheese along with the occasional jar of olives.

Then I quit smoking, got married and had a kid. Over the next couple of years I piled all of the weight back on, plus a little bit more for good measure.

I’ve struggled with my weight ever since. A friend of mine has recently been on a weight-loss mission and is doing really well. He’s encouraged me to get back on the horse and to make a concerted effort to get fit and lose weight.

So this is the first of my weigh-ins. I’ve not included my measurements, just my current weight and BMI/Body fat percentage. I’ll do my best to check in every Sunday morning to keep you up-to-date with my progress.
