THE XBOX ONE OPEN NAT DEBACLE
I now have IPv6 fully operational on my broadband connection. IPv6 is fucking awesome; except it isn’t. Not where my Xbox One is concerned. It should be the best way to connect the console to the internet for the online gaming etc. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Suddenly, I can’t play games online with my friends. I had to go back to using IPv4, just so we (my son and I) can play games. FFS.
If that wasn’t bad enough, I have just spent the best part of two hours trying to obtain an open NAT. Job done, but what a fucking faff. Let’s hope the next gen Xbox does better.
