I am taking sabbatical, well sort of!
Quite a statement, I know. The thing is, I have been chipping away at my “so-called” writing career since 2013. What began as journaling soon became a serious attempt to become a motorsport writer. Because of this, my blog started to suffer, and I soon lost sight of what I was trying to achieve.
Over the last few weeks, I have been analysing everything that I have been doing. I have tried to keep The Rennsport Report, Rad Roads and MotoYeti going, but I do not have the time or the depth of knowledge required to maintain them at a level that will keep readers engaged. I might be able to overcome doubt if I earned an income for what I produce, but I don’t, and so I have come to the conclusion that I need to take time away from those projects to focus on my own well being and that of my family.
So, from today I will be shutting down everything except this blog and my ever-so random newsletter. I will not take on any more projects unless it pays. I doubt anyone will notice.
