the migration validation

Hello friends. I just wanted to let you know that I will be producing most of my content on my Substack newsletter page. I will continue to post maybe 50% of what I write on this blog, and everything that I write in my newsletter will be linked in short posts here. I know there’s an argument for deleting your social media accounts, and I get why some people might like to do so; but, before you do, take a look at this video from Cal Newport. I think his rationale is an approach I am going to take.

So, for now, I am going to be using cost-benefit analysis when using social media platforms. Places like Instagram will need to be modified, and I will continue to use Vero as my platform of choice for everything else. My Substack will be the place where you can sign up for emails from me to you. I’ll be keeping it free for the time being, but, in the unlikely event that my audience grows substantially, I might look at charging a small subscription to enable certain features like commenting and personal responses.

Well, that’s all for now, I’m off to watch the NASA Artemis 1 test flight launch, live on YouTube. I hope to see you over on Substack, cheers, JP.
