Thoughts on a troubled world.
I am a firm believer in free speech. People should be able to have a voice, good or bad. Some of those voices are louder than others, and they are often the ones that don’t sit well with us.
Should governments and organisations step in to censor some of what is said? Maybe. We should monitor hate speech that might cause people to react in violent ways, radical views that can lead our youth down a path to violence, and dangerous misinformation that lead to poor health choices.

So, the government has decided the time is right to relax the social distancing measures once again, is it to early? The scientists at Independent SAGE seem to think so! Here’s their response to the latest government guidance.
Independent SAGE warns that it is not safe to relax social distancing rules for indoor settings and that the government’s proposal to reduce to 1 metre will ‘effectively end’ social distancing in Britain.

The Berry Box
We have been taking regular walks across the fields to the Berry Box vending machine. The machine provides sizeable punnets of Raspberries and Strawberries at £1.50 a pop. Short of picking your own fruit I would suggest that this is the freshest fruit available in the area. Straight from the adjoining farm to the vending machine daily.
