So, I’ve been looking to the future lately, and I’ve decided that I am going to organise a U.S. road trip for my family and me.
Karta will be sixteen in a little under three years, the same age I was when I first visited the United States. My plan, well, I think the classic coast to coast, sea to shining sea in a muscle car is high on the list at the moment.
My thoughts are, fly into New York, do the whole Big Apple thing and then head to Chicago, taking in all of the sites and major attractions, before heading onto Route 66 for the drive to California before jumping on a flight back to Blighty from there.
There is just one thing holding me back right now, a lack of funds. I am sure we can work something out.
